Artist Gregory Siff will unveil his premiere jewelry collection at Art Basel Miami 2015. "SELFMADE", a collaboration with Los Angeles jewelry designer Shayan Afshar, is an ornate 18K gold piece cast in the form of a gold bouillon brick. The energetic property of the jewel is to serve as a reminder of the hard work and genuine love one has for the craft he or she pursues. According to the artist, the gold represents life and the painting you create each day by way of your existence. These exclusive pieces are presented in a stunning yellow gold, engraved with the words "SELFMADE" in Gregory's signature artwork. Each bar is signed and numbered with a limited edition of eighteen. Each necklace comes in an original hand crafted, hand painted wooden gold bar, built to scale of an exact gold bouillon, 7 in. x 3.5 in x 1.5 in. The sculpture slides open to reveal a secret nesting place for the gem to be stored. Each is customized with its own word and symbol that can easily be displayed by hanging on a wall.
